**Protection Level 2 (Advanced Protection Development)** Protection Level 2 is an advanced protection training program designed to strengthen the dog’s guarding instincts, control, and tactical response under pressure. This course builds on the foundation of Protection Level 1 by improving the dog’s confidence, precision, and reliability in more complex protection scenarios. The training focuses on enhancing defensive drive, threat discrimination, and advanced engagement while maintaining full obedience and handler control. Dogs in this level are trained to perform with greater intensity, discipline, and environmental stability. **Training Includes:** • Advanced obedience under high distraction • Tactical heel and positioning • Advanced threat recognition • Controlled guarding and perimeter awareness • Bark and hold with stronger engagement • Bite work foundation and targeting • Hold and release with precision • Escort and handler protection drills • Recall out during active protection • Environmental stress conditioning • Public neutrality and controlled aggression This program develops a stronger, more confident, and reliable protection dog capable of performing real-world guarding and handler defense while maintaining discipline and control. It also serves as preparation for Protection Level 3 and specialized operational protection work.
